I’m Stephan Tynes, a designer and creative director with a decade of experience shaping brands, building campaigns, and bringing ideas to life through thoughtful design. From leading teams at top Texas agencies to founding my own studio, I’ve built a career on blending strategy, craft, and collaboration.

At Tynes Design, I help clients stand out with bold branding, clean web builds, packaging that pops off the shelf, and visuals that make a lasting impression. Before that, I served as an Associate Creative Director at Ampersand Agency and a designer at McGarrah Jessee, where I worked on large-scale campaigns for brands like Whataburger, Costa, Frost Bank, Kuiu, Case Knives, Stripes, and Total Wine. My work has ranged from digital ads and social campaigns to murals, packaging, and wayfinding — always with an eye for detail and a focus on results.

My career started in web and visual design at Texas State University, and my early years included internships at design studios like Blackboard Co. Those experiences gave me a foundation in both digital and print design, setting the stage for the cross-disciplinary work I lead today.

I believe the best design comes from partnership — listening deeply, asking the right questions, and crafting solutions that capture not just what a brand does, but what it means. My goal is always to help clients transform their vision into something people can see, feel, and connect with.
